As a result of me looking for new people to collaborate with, I’ve been meeting some amazing creatives. This time I test shoot Maraya in the new studio.
Similar to my last shoot with Annaliese, with a mix of flash, constant lighting (LED) and natural light, this is what we came up with. A silver beauty dish was used for most photos and also a small silver reflector as we were going for a more harsh lighting, and my 600W strobe had to be dialled down to its lowest power in some cases to be able to shoot around f/2. All photos taken with Sony A7 III, Sony 85mm f/1.4 and Hanimar Auto S 135mm f/2.8 (first three photos).
I hope you enjoy the results. I do have a Studio Workshop happening here on the 7th March 2021 with Maraya as the model and a limit of only 5 photographers (as of time of writing this, only 3 spots left) where I teach lots about lighting, how to turn any space into a studio, etc.
